This was one of the the topics that came up in my discussion with my ‘Time’ student.
Your jataka chakram is a location chart of 9 grahas +1 lagna in 12 rasis, as well their nakshatra padas and which of these grahas appear retrograde. This arrangement is specific to the time and place of your birth. (Refer : Hindu Predictive Astrology)
It is the best calendar imaginable to accurately and uniquely determine a person’s date of birth.
It has also been used to predict a human’s future, as well as the future of human kings and kingdoms.
However, if a person were born or Saturn at the same instant a person was born on earth, their jataka chatram would have to take into account Saturn-Centric Rasis and Saturn centric grahas and their alignment. A different set of astrology rules would be required to predict their future.. and the most interesting thing would be the absence of ‘Sani’ or Saturn from the astrological chart… a feature very important in geo-centric astronomy/astrology.
I know that the jataka chakram is a snapshot of the cosmic clock that records time of birth from a geo-centric perspective of the universe. I know that many great minds including Einstein’s and Parasara‘s accepted both Effort and Fate in their own different ways.
So perhaps the future is pre-determined and perhaps it can be altered with effort and will (sankalpa).(Refer : Sankalpa (Will) As an Astrological Remedy).
But this Jyotishya Sastram (Astrology) in its existing geo-centric form cannot be applicable either on other planets in our solar system, or in other solar systems and it cannot also be of any interest to mosquitoes, bats and other non-humans.
And once we remember that we live in a tiny little corner of our own rather small galaxy, we suddenly realise that a geo-centric snapshot of graha-lagna-rasi-nakshatra positions, cannot even mean much in terms of time… I mean it is not much of a clock for the rest of the universe.
Any universal idea of time shall have to relate to events of the fundamental particles.
